If you are using various devices and multimedia players across different platforms, such as a PDA, mobile phone, and a computer, you might need this tool to convert all your DVDs into various other video formats. This program offers really good features compared to other similar tools available on the market. Any DVD can be converted into DivX, AVI, XviD, iPod (MP4) 3GP, VCD or SVCD (MPEG), or FLV, among others. Besides, you can use this program to rip any of the audio tracks in a DVD. It also enables you to convert region-specific and protected DVD discs. You may also define start and ending points, in case you do not need to convert the full video stream. Finally, you can also add any of the existing subtitle streams to the converted video file.
In some cases, when conversion will take too long, you can also set a computer shutdown after the conversion process has ended successfully. In its Status Window, it will show you the completion status of the conversion process.
This tool is highly useful for all types of users, from technical to non-technical ones. It works with most Windows operating systems, from 95 up to XP, though it has not been well tested with Windows 7 and Vista yet. |
